Ghana Library Authority commissions Youth Engagement Facilities

Ghana Library Authority (GhLA), as a part of its quest to attach younger Ghanaians to related data sources that enhance their well-being has commissioned ten Youth Engagement Facilities (YECs) throughout eight areas.

At a brief ceremony in Accra, the Govt Director of GhLA, Mr. Hayford Siaw, in explaining the rationale behind the idea of YECs, mentioned, it was an initiative to help a minimum of ten thousand younger Ghanaians from 14 to 24 years with digital, entrepreneurial and advocacy expertise at specifically redesigned sections of public libraries within the nation.
